Q: When Do Sessions Take Place?
We use a very flexible system at Sean Armstrong Fitness, where clients book themselves in via a smartphone app. You do not need to attend the same sessions everywhere like most places and you can vary them based on your schedule.
Sessions run at: 6:00am, 7:00am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm & 7:30pm on Monday - Friday and we have 08:00am, 9:00am & 10:00am sessions on Saturday.
Q: Where Are You Based?
We are just off Middle Engine Lane, essentially across the road to Shiremoor House Farm and around the corner to the Silverlink Retail Park.
Q: I'm Worried I Will Be The Most Unfit There
It's not about your start point, it's about where you are going. Everyone starts with the same worry, but spend 30 minutes with us and you'll see that all of our members and myself want you to succeed. Our culture is built around results and supporting each other to succeed.
Regardless of your start point, you'll quickly start to feel at home with us.
Q: Is it 1-2-1 Personal Training?
No, in our Personal Training sessions you’ll be training with between 1 and 3 other people. This allows us to offer a flexible and super-affordable Personal Training session that delivers a unique blend of individual attention/coaching and camaraderie/support amongst likeminded people.
Q: Is there a set start date?
No. Because our service is personal, we start you when you’re ready.
Q: What happens after I apply?
After you apply, we’ll be in contact to schedule a quick chat to find out more about you and what you’re looking to achieve.
After the call, assuming we’re both keen to move forward, we’ll get you signed up and set up on the app to get you booked in for your first session.
Q: I've never lifted weights before, is this okay?
Of course, it's more than okay. Many of those who start with us are totally new to lifting weights or even the gym at all, your start point doesn't matter.
Q: I'm scared....
That's normal to feel apprehensive and normal before starting something but we pride ourselves on being a very welcoming and non-intimidating gym. We’ll meet you exactly where you are in regards to your fitness levels, so don't worry if you think you can't do something. We will find the right starting place for you and build you up gradually. Trust us, the thought of doing something new and scary is always much more extreme than the actual reality of it.
